Drum Roll Please. . .

Only 4 more days and I will be on my way to beginning a new venture into a life of intense study, discipline, and rendering of heart to the Lord. The journey up until this moment has been truly an amazing experience already. I have been blown away at the generosity of my brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as others I am only acquaintances of. I have seen the Lord's faithfulness every step of the way from the first day of raising my finances and it has only confirmed in my heart His word of "GO" spoken to me back in the spring of 2010.

For those of you who have asked where I'm at financially, I am SO close to my goal.  . . Here until January I will continue raising the $1300 that is needed to pay off my second 3 month track which will begin the 1st or 2nd week of January. I ask that you continue to pray and see how the Lord would allow you to give!

My current desire is to hear from you as to how I can be praying specifically for the needs in your lives and those dear to you. Having the opportunity to spend 30+ hours a week in the prayer room while in my internship, while aligning myself with Father's heart, is truly a privilege in my eyes (not discounting my desire to walk in such a way even today). I so want to partner with you in believing for what's on your heart (and His!). This is the least I can do to thank you for your support in this journey of my life!!

Thank you again for those of you who have supported me this far already either financially or by praying! Truly, I am blessed beyond words as well as thrilled to be able to share with you every step of the way! I know that only good, God things are to come! Stay tuned for the next blog which will begin the start of my journey at IHOP. Blessings in Christ, Hannah

The Start of Something New

I have had several people ask me if I could do a blog while I'm gone in Kansas City, MO for the extent of my internship so that they can be informed as to what is going on in my life. I revamped my previous blog and am now devoting it to this very thing! This now will be my source of updating and enlightening you all as to what the Lord is doing in my life.

As of today I have raised $2722. This is almost 1/2 of my goal of $6000 by September 15. I am still believing for the Lord's provision and that all things will continue coming together as planned. I am in awe by those of you who have blessed me already in your giving. My heart rejoices in the goodness of the Lord towards me in establishing His plans for my life!

Tomorrow night, August 28 @ 7:30 p.m,will be my second fundraiser. An amazing night of music @ Joes: Listening Room & Cultural Arts Center called "Fly Away Bird" featuring The Singing Woodsmen, Joe Dunlap, Anthony Teague, & The Warship. I will be ending the night with some worship as a way of offering the nights talents and gifts to the Lord in return to His blessing me in this journey. Hope you all can make it! If not please tune in online at www.joesjava.org and listen to the web-stream. Donations can be made in any amount through a secured PayPal account.

My 3rd and final fundraiser, a car-wash, will take place September 4th from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Liberty Savings Bank across from Wilmington College on 2251 Rombach Avenue. Carwash will be by donation!

Thank you all who have faithfully supported me and I can't wait to share with you all that the Lord does on my behalf! Until next time, Hannah

Unique

July 24, 2010 4:23 PM

I’m sitting here in the Higher Grounds Cafe and I’m totally loving every minute. So encouraging to be around brothers and sisters who have the same passion and are one-anothering. Oh the beauty of fellowship! The older I get the more I realize how much of a people person I truly am. I have always loved observing and marveling in how creative God is when fashioning His children. Not one is the same! Wow! That He would make us unique so that we can grow in beauty, in the likeness of Christ as is fitting to each his own. I’m learning how to appreciate the gift of life and experiencing the joy of His presence everyday. I am reminded of the song In The Garden. . . “He walks with me and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own, and the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever none.” My walk with Jesus is unique. Made just as He sees fitting. How He speaks to my heart is special as unto me. There is a song we’ve been singing here at IHOP that goes, “No, one else can love me like You love me Lord, I was made unique in Your heart, I was made to bring You joy!” What a wonderful thought! I am unique, I am set apart, I am made to bring Him joy! Hallelujah!

In Awe Of An Awesome God

Yesterday was amazing, especially the night sessions leading into the Awakening Service. The Lord brought such freedom and joy into the room and so much deliverance took place. I am amazed at His great work in my heart. More than that I’m blessed beyond words at an even greater unity in spirit, soul, and body that’s taken place in my life. I’m reminded of Isaiah 40:29 that states, “He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.” I feel so empowered by His spirit moving in and through me. A great expectation of the unseen and this knowing in my heart that I“I haven’t seen nothing yet!” Here’s to a year of being shaken to the core, being throttled into greater God inspiration, and unspeakable growth. Lord You are good and Your mercy endureth forever!”

You Have Ravished My Heart

How great is Your love Father
I am overwhelmed
You are so kind
You pull me from the ashes.
And crown me with loving-kindness
When my heart despairs
You reveal You're faithful still
Whom have I but You?
I will yet praise You
I will sing and make music
All of the days of my life
I will give all that I am to You
For You are worth it all
The past, the present, the future
Nothing will stand in the way of me pouring out my love on You
I am Your beloved and You are mine
There is no other place I'd rather be than wrapped in Your sweet embrace
To hear you singing over me
Glance into my eyes and tell me I'm Yours
Here we will stay
Hand in hand, heart to heart
United forever in love's fresh start
