Unique

July 24, 2010 4:23 PM

I’m sitting here in the Higher Grounds Cafe and I’m totally loving every minute. So encouraging to be around brothers and sisters who have the same passion and are one-anothering. Oh the beauty of fellowship! The older I get the more I realize how much of a people person I truly am. I have always loved observing and marveling in how creative God is when fashioning His children. Not one is the same! Wow! That He would make us unique so that we can grow in beauty, in the likeness of Christ as is fitting to each his own. I’m learning how to appreciate the gift of life and experiencing the joy of His presence everyday. I am reminded of the song In The Garden. . . “He walks with me and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own, and the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever none.” My walk with Jesus is unique. Made just as He sees fitting. How He speaks to my heart is special as unto me. There is a song we’ve been singing here at IHOP that goes, “No, one else can love me like You love me Lord, I was made unique in Your heart, I was made to bring You joy!” What a wonderful thought! I am unique, I am set apart, I am made to bring Him joy! Hallelujah!

In Awe Of An Awesome God

Yesterday was amazing, especially the night sessions leading into the Awakening Service. The Lord brought such freedom and joy into the room and so much deliverance took place. I am amazed at His great work in my heart. More than that I’m blessed beyond words at an even greater unity in spirit, soul, and body that’s taken place in my life. I’m reminded of Isaiah 40:29 that states, “He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.” I feel so empowered by His spirit moving in and through me. A great expectation of the unseen and this knowing in my heart that I“I haven’t seen nothing yet!” Here’s to a year of being shaken to the core, being throttled into greater God inspiration, and unspeakable growth. Lord You are good and Your mercy endureth forever!”
